Spain(April-May 2007)
A 10 days trip from Greece to Spain and back! Isn't too short? Yes it is!
Eleven people, six motorcycles, 4.150 kilometers, five couples and one single, we travelled for ten days across Europe! It was a very beautiful trip!
We started our trip from Patras, Greece on the 27th of April, in the year of 2007 and we returned home on the 6th of May, 2007.
On a ferry we crossed Adriatic sea from our homecity, Patras, Greece to Ancona, Italy. We crossed Italy from Ancona to Genova, and our first night stay was in Cannes, France. In the second day of the trip, we arrived in Barcelona, Spain.
We spent three lovely days in Barcelona, which I believe is the #1 city, in Europe! It combines culture, history, museums, architecture, entertainment, gastronomy, shopping....everything! I have visited Barcelona three times in the past and I will visit this city many more in the future!
We left Barcelona for Andorra in Pyrenees mountains, where even though it was the first of May, it was snowing! Our direction was to Toulouse, the fourth largest city of France. In Toulouse we visited the Airbus Factory to discover the fascinating world of Airbus airplanes, and especially A380. We were amazed with this tour in the Factory.
Our next stop was the beautiful Montpellier in France! One day stop and go! Go where? In Cinque Terre (Five Lands) in the north-west part of Italy, in Liguria region. Cinque Terre is composed of five villages : Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We spent our last night of the trip, in the city of La Spezia.
An amazing trip, a good company, and a lot of rain! I will not forget the rain! In the most of the days, it was raining!!!
Just an unforgettable trip to Spain!
